On February 10, 2026, Step By Steppe participated in a Business France webinar dedicated to Mongolia’s economic outlook and opportunities for French companies, opened by H.E. Ulambayar Nyamkhuu, Ambassador of Mongolia to France.

Mongolia is entering an acceleration phase (2026–2030), supported by:

  • +5% average post-Covid GDP growth

  • +60% increase in foreign direct investment over the past five years (60% originating from the EU)

  • A strong diversification strategy, as 85% of exports currently go to China

  • An ambitious national development agenda including 24 megaprojects in Ulaanbaatar (metro, tramway, cable car, urban modernization)

Step By Steppe is currently advancing a geothermal pilot project in Mongolia and is actively seeking French companies specialized in geothermal drilling and related technologies. Mongolia’s window of opportunity is real — and open.
