The Mongolia-European Union Investors’ Round table
We were honored to take part in the Mongolia–European Union Investors’ Round table, held on March 13, 2026 in Brussels.
Zandan B. Acting Director of Investment and Trade Agency of Mongolia.
The event brought together government leaders, European institutions, financial organizations, and private investors to strengthen cooperation and explore new opportunities for investment between Mongolia and the European Union.
The roundtable opened with remarks by T. Dorjkhand, Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia, alongside Martin Seychell, Deputy Director-General at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for International Partnerships, and Christian Zinglersen, Deputy Secretary General and Permanent Representative of the European Investment Bank Group to the European Union.

The event also supports the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Mongolia and the European Investment Bank (EIB), which creates the opportunity to mobilize up to EUR 1 billion in financing for priority projects in Mongolia.
We also had the pleasure of engaging with Ina Marčiulionytė, Ambassador of the European Union to Mongolia, and L. Bold, Ambassador of Mongolia to the Kingdom of Belgium and Permanent Representative to the European Union.
At the conclusion of the roundtable, we were pleased to sign with a Mongolian group a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening cooperation in geothermal energy and strategic minerals — key sectors supporting Mongolia’s energy transition and the development of sustainable critical mineral value chains.
During the event, we also had a valuable exchange with the Director of the Mongolian Investment and Trade Agency, discussing the organization of a future webinar between Mongolian companies interested in entering the French and European markets and our firm. This initiative aims to support Mongolian businesses in better understanding opportunities, regulatory frameworks, and partnership possibilities within Europe.
Thank you to the organizers — the Government of Mongolia, the European Commission, the European Investment Bank, the EU Delegation to Mongolia, and the Embassy of Mongolia in Brussels — for facilitating such an important dialogue.
