Step By Steppe successfully concludes its mission in Central Asia and lays the Groundwork for Sustainable Cooperation

Step By Steppe, a French strategy consulting firm with a deeply multicultural team, is proud to announce the successful completion of its mission in Central Asia, marked by high-level meetings, meaningful exchanges, and a shared vision for the region’s economic future.

During this mission, SBS met with numerous companies and institutions actively involved in promoting foreign investment, particularly in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. These discussions provided first-hand insight into the region’s strong economic development and highlighted the momentum, ambition, and tangible impact of initiatives implemented under the 5+1 strategy.

In continuity with this regional framework, discussions focused on new avenues of cooperation between Central Asian companies, Mongolia, and France. Thanks to productive meetings with institutions dedicated to attracting foreign investment, Step By Steppe is currently identifying and mapping the specific needs of Uzbek and Kazakh companies.

Key areas of exploration include the creation of a business connection network for companies seeking partnerships, as well as the potential establishment of business clubs between the countries. These initiatives, warmly welcomed by local partners, will be further developed and implemented over the coming months.

Beyond economic considerations, this mission revealed a powerful reality: the field of opportunity remains vast, and the centuries-old, shared histories foster a strong sense of proximity—not only with economic stakeholders, but also with local communities. On the ground, Step By Steppe clearly perceived both the expectations placed upon it and the trust granted by its interlocutors.

Building on these insights, Step By Steppe is now shaping its roadmap alongside local partners. The ambition is clear: to build a solid ship in landlocked countries—or rather, to create a great bridge connecting stakeholders across key sectors such as culture, education, infrastructure, agriculture, and textiles (cashmere, cotton, linen), among others.
