Strengthening EU–Mongolia Cooperation for a Greener Future

At the first Mongolia–EU Business and Investment Forum in Ulaanbaatar, EIB Global and the Government of Mongolia signed a Memorandum of Understanding that could unlock up to EUR 1 billion in investment for renewable energy, sustainable transport, and modern power networks.

Supported by the European Commission, this partnership aims to accelerate Mongolia’s green transition under the EU Global Gateway strategy and Mongolia’s Vision 2050, promoting clean, affordable, and secure energy for people and businesses.
